Free Technology for Teachers: How to Create Flipped Classroom Assignments & Vide...:
With all of the hype currently on flipped classrooms, this is a great resource to take a look at! It sounds very flexible for teachers, as you can use videos you create yourself as well as youtube videos to create lessons for your students. I definitely think this is something I want to try with my class this year!
I have bee, in the past, very reluctant to even consider the idea of a flipped class room because I couldn't see the application for it but the more information I read about it, the more it makes sense. And I agree that it does seem flexible and relatively simple to create videos to provide to my students. I may give it a try too, Courtney. Let me know how it goes.
ReplyDeleteI just the same as Matt have been very skeptical of flipped classrooms. I have always played devils advocate when it came to the idea because I could look at my 7th grade math students and see who the idea would benefit then look at a few others and just think of all the extra work it would encompass since I knew they would never watch the videos. Then I got to thinking again that that would just be another part of differentiated instruction and why not give it a try. Thanks for the information Courtney.
