Second Life

I think this would have great application for my social studies class. I can see this working really well for exploration of various history units, and I think my kids would be very engaged. Some of my higher kids would be thrilled to try creating their own second life projects as well.

I just rolled out my Remind 101 info at open house last night, and parents were really excited about it. I love that they are now offering support for families who speak other languages, this would be very beneficial for students at my school. Excited to use this program this year!

 I really enjoyed reading this, and found it great to learn about yet another new resource. This sounds like something that would be really great for my students to check out.  I had never heard of Lulu prior to reading this article, and was excited to check it out.

I found this article to be really interesting because it is so important for students today to know that importance of digital portfolios. Students all throughout school, in all grades, must know the importance of creating a portfolio that displays their progress and accomplishments. This article highlights many helpful resources that can be used.
